TerjeMedicine replaces the DayZ standard system. Medication level must be ≥ disease stage — vaccinating early saves lives!

Basic Principle

TerjeMedicine replaces the simplified DayZ healing system with a multi-stage simulation of diseases, injuries, symptoms and psyche. Each stage triggers its own effects and requires clearly defined medications or interventions.

Symptoms & Status Effects

EffectTreatment / Note
PainCodeine / Analgin (tablets) or Morphine (ampoule)
OverdoseHallucination, unconsciousness → drink plenty of water
Sleep bar yellowYawning — warning, still okay
Sleep bar redUnconsciousness imminent → lie down (poses → lie down), sleeping bag / campfire fills faster
Energy drinksBridge ~8–10 minutes of sleep deficit
Mental healthDrops under stress, psionic zones, cannibalism → antidepressants (Adepress → Amitriptyline)

Psionic Zones

In psionic zones a radial psycho-effect is active. The mental bar drops continuously — symptoms: hallucination, panic. At 0% a suicide event is triggered.

Preparation: Take antidepressants + wear PSI helmet (~95% protection). Cross the zone quickly!

Best Practice

  • Prevention: Vaccinate, always disinfect hands and instruments.
  • First Aid: Always carry hemostatic bandage — stopping bleeding is top priority.
  • Surgery Routine: Remove foreign body → suture → disinfect.
  • Medication Management: Watch the active ingredient level and overdose indicator.
  • Sleep & Psyche: Don’t ignore — otherwise unconsciousness or suicide event.
