Overview

Deadmans-Echo features five modular custom sets, each with six slots (Helmet, Vest, Jacket, Pants, Gloves, Boots) in four quality tiers — 120 spawnable items in total. Each slot carries its own bonus that stacks with set-piece bonuses as you wear more pieces. Wearing all six slots of a single set unlocks a Full-Set ability.

Items drop exclusively from boss kills: every boss death rolls one set item, placed into the reward crate alongside the normal loot rewards.

Reading guide. Quality values are Poor / Normal / Epic / Corrupted bonus in percent. Corrupted pieces grant the strongest positive bonus but apply an additional penalty. Bonus item classes follow the schema DMECS_{Set}_{Slot}_{Quality} (example: DMECS_Tank_Helmet_Epic).

Each boss kill rolls one item. The drop table depends on boss tier:

Normalization note. Rows 2 and 3 nominally sum to more than 100 % (101 % / 103 %). The drop service auto-normalizes — Corrupted is therefore slightly rarer in Rows 2/3 than the raw percentages suggest.

Tips

  • Mix builds work — 3+3 instead of 6+0 is often the pragmatic setup if you don’t strictly need a Full-Set ability
  • Corrupted pieces grant the highest bonus but apply a penalty — only wear them if the penalty modifier is acceptable for your build
  • Hazmat and Medic are dedicated PvE sets — you lose mobility against Assault / Recon in open PvP fights
  • Tank Vest and Hazmat Vest have the strongest slot bonuses (up to 18 % Corrupted)
  • Boss kills are the only source — the higher the boss tier, the higher the Epic / Corrupted probability
